Konami Castlevania NFT

Castlevania fans out there, Konami has some news that may interest you.

The Japanese video game company has announced that to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series, they will be releasing and auctioning NFTs.

It has been titled ‘Konami Memorial NFT collection’, and will contain 14 Castlevania images, capturing game scenes, music, and some new visuals.

The Castlevania NFT auction will start at 5 pm EST on January 12th and run until 9 pm EST on January 14th.

The game series was launched in 1986, and has generated millions of loyal fans over the decades.

This will be Konami’s first NFT project, with the company following the footsteps of other big game publishers like Ubisoft.

Also, just like Ubisoft and SEGA before it, Castlevania fans were outraged by the NFT news. Most gaming fans have been opposed to NFTs in general, but that is not stopping the companies from moving forward.

The auction will take place on OpenSea.
