Another day, another blockbuster NFT sale.
A rare CloneX NFT, specifically CloneX #4594, has just sold for an incredible 450ETH. In dollar value, that amounted to close to $1.25 million.
The NFT was created by RTFKT Studios and was purchased by Twitter user @FTazi on OpenSea.
The CloneX NFT project has a floor price of 15.5 ETH as of this writing. This particular NFT is the most expensive one sold from the collection, with the previous biggest sale coming at $672,000.
Its rare traits include white octopus hair (0.43% rarity) and Murakami DNA trait (0.51% rarity).
The CloneX project is a collection of 20,000 unique 3D NFT avatars. RTFKT Studios partnered with legendary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, who personally designed some of the colorful traits.
So far, the collection has over 8000 owners, and a trading volume of over $90 million.
