Binance Labs has made a big investment in Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming platform GAMEE.
Binance Labs is the venture capital arm of Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. It was created to find and invest in new opportunities in the decentralized web.
They have announced a $1.5 million investment in GAMEE, to fund and support its development of blockchain gaming experiences.
GAMEE is focused on bringing P2E to mobile devices, and is itself a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, one of the largest Web3 investors.
With over 40 million users, GAMEE uses $GMEE as the token powering its eco-system.
“We are very happy to welcome Binance Labs as a strategic investor to advance our growth and assist us in building the future of gaming, based on the true ownership of digital assets,” Bozena Rezab, GAMEE CEO said.
Commenting on the same, investment director at Binance Labs, Chase Guo said, “GAMEE is a top-tier mobile gaming platform with a deep understanding of play-to-earn mechanisms. We are excited about this partnership to bring blockchain gaming to the next level.”
Other than GAMEE, Binance Labs has also invested in other notable projects, key among them The Sandbox Metaverse.
