It is now possible to customize your NFTs with a fresh look as an NFT derivative. This will be the first on-chain verifiable derivative collection.
It is courtesy of the recent Nifty Tailor and Smart Token Labs (STL) collaboration, where the two joined hands in creating ‘smart derivatives’.
STL is using its Token Script framework to enable this minting of derived NFTs.
What is Nifty Tailor Genesis Mint?
The Nifty Tailor Genesis Mint is a mint open only to holders of BAYC and MAYC. Other popular NFT collection may have their chance in the future.
In short, there will be 2500 mint passes in this genesis mint. Each pass can only mint one derivative. There will be up to 50 mint passes per wallet, and 10 mint passes per Ape.
Each mint pass self-destructs after minting a derivative.
The new derivatives will be ‘suited up’ by Nifty Tailor, a Web3 Digital Fashion marketplace that offers off-chain outfit solution for close to 30 popular NFT collections.
