AMC’s The Walking Dead NFTs Drop This Week

Last month, we learnt that TV network AMC had partnered with Orange Comet, an NFT production and promotion company, to launch ‘The Walking Dead’ collection.

This is part of their greater plans to build a metaverse based on the famous TV zombies.

The Walker Access Pass NFTs, as they have been dubbed, will be released on March 3, 17:00 GMT, on OpenSea.

They will be live for 24 hours, after which there will be no further sale for at least one year, with the possibility of never again.

What does a Walker Access Pass NFT Entail?

The limited edition Walker Access Pass NFTs will feature 10 different 3D Walkers set in a variety of backgrounds. However, this will not be revealed at the time of purchase, but rather during a grand reveal that will take place on March 18.

This means that minting will happen at random after each purchase, with buyers having to wait 2 weeks before finding out what treasure they got.

There will be 5 categories: Legendary, Epic, Super Rare, Rare and Uncommon.

One top of these passes, Orange Comet will be auctioning 4 unique golden variants of the main cast of Rick, Daryl, Maggie and Michonne. The price will start at 0.11 ETH, and the auction will last for 48 hours.
