KnownOrigin Raises $4.8M in New Funding

NFT startup KnownOrigin is making big moves as it seeks to grow its market share in the increasingly saturated field of NFT marketplaces.

The UK based digital arts platform has announced raising $4.85 million in Series A funding. The round was led by crypto venture capital firms GBV and Sanctor Capital.

Others involved were D1 Ventures, MetaCartel Ventures, LD Capital and Pluto Digital Media, as well as contributions from pseudo-anonymous investors Co1born, CaoArmand, FutureArt, Sats Moon, and Dave Goode.

KnownOrigin seeks to simplify transaction processes when it comes to listing and selling NFTs. In the last year, the company says that they have generated over $30 million in sales.
