Award winning actor Johnny Depp also happens to be a very talented artist.

To capitalize on his less known talent, Depp will be selling over 10,000 unique NFTs of his own paintings. The paintings are of his friends and heroes.

The collection will be released under the name “Never Fear Truth.”

The portraits are the original artworks of Depp, but have been embellished and animated to convert them into digital collectibles.

According to Page Six, they include portraits of Johnny himself, Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Hunter S. Thompson, Heath Ledger, daughter Lily-Rose Depp, Tim Burton, Johnny’s late dog Mooh and a fictional character created by his son called Bunnyman.

“I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.”

The actor’s style is a mix of pop and street art in vibrant colors.

25% of proceeds from the sale will be donated to charities including the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and The Gonzo Trust.

“We decided to release a series of portraits, but in a way that could also give something back. Having the opportunity to salute my supporters and support the charities that have been so important to my family is an incredible gift. I hope we can create a new community of friends around these NFTs. My involvement in the NFT space has just begun.”
