Virtual Reality platform Cyber has announced a partnership with Rarible Protocol to build a 3D NFT marketplace in the metaverse.
This will allow users to buy NFTs powered by the Rarible marketplace, without ever leaving the metaverse. Those seeking to sell NFTs can also do the same in the metaverse, by listing them on Rarible.
It is a well-thought out partnership, with Cyber bringing its virtual reality prowess, and Rarible protocol offering the infrastructure.
“You had all these top-to-bottom companies that were selling land that is quite expensive, and then you had a lot of 2D platforms, but not the option in the middle,” said Cyber’s founder Rayan Boutaleb.
“We launched and placed the first brick of a bottom-up metaverse company that we would build with the help of the community.”
Using the Cyber VR app which can be accessed through Oculus, users will be able to access the NFT marketplace as well as other projects on the Rarible protocol.
