What are P2E Guilds and How Do They Work?

If you happen to be wondering what P2E Guilds are, and how they contribute to play to earn gaming environment, in this post, you are set out to discover more about them.

With the blockchain-based Play-to-earn games (P2E), Gamers in countries such as the Philippines are just proof that it is possible to make a living from playing these P2E games

Guilds will let new players participate in these games without spending advance cash or in-game assets through rental and scholarship programs.

Crypto gaming guilds is now one of the biggest and fastest-growing markets, with the business model solving the problem of access, and democratizing the entire P2E eco-system.

What Does Guild Mean?

A gaming guild is simply a community of gamers committed to playing games together. The gamers will share the profits and in-game assets they earn from completing a quest equally.

Guilds have always been a feature of traditional gaming, though usually centred on a single game.

In the era of blockchain gaming, guilds issue out to its members, earned native tokens which makes buying assets in the game possible. It also allows NFT investments, reward schedules and other matters of governance.

What is a P2E Guild?

P2E guilds are organizations that try to tap the earnings potential of games and NFT airdrops.

Play to earn guilds can pick a portfolio of games, items, tokens, metaverse land plots or other valuables and benefit from the value generated in a digital environment.

They use collective resource mobilization to maximize on the profits.

Advantage of a P2E Guild

P2E guild games have risen to another dimension over the years. They have both benefits and their downfalls, but their primary aim is to ensure that as much profit is gotten from a particular game.

It’s key advantage is that the barrier to entry for participating in a given game is brought down. Without a guild, a user will have to spend hundreds or in some cases thousands of dollars to play a game.

A guild offers a cheaper way, through renting of in-game assets. This is especially important for players in low-income countries.

Another advantage is the passive income stream it provides for those who spent the big bucks buying the assets and renting them out.

Disadvantages of a P2E Guild

One disadvantage is that game guilds may be tempted to exploit games, as in the case of sharing overpowered Axie Infinity characters.

Otherwise, guilds may try to outplay the system by sharing overpowered characters or squelching competition.
